Each year, tens of thousands of patients undergoing a variety of powerful therapies experience severe side effects in their kidneys. While the kidney damage is most often temporary, the impairment of these vital organs leads to expensive and sometimes life-threatening complications. These side effects have until now been considered occasional but unavoidable consequence of powerful therapies.

Verrow has developed a technology which can prevent the kidney damage caused by many popular and powerful drugs, for cancer and autoimmune diseases as well as diagnostic imaging, without dulling the effectiveness for which they are known.

Verrow will become a leading specialty pharmaceutical company committed to improving the safety profiles of current and future drugs whose use would otherwise be limited by kidney toxicity.

Approach

In the near term, our lead product, Veropaque, will apply our unique technology to the billion-dollar iodinated contrast market. Once this product establishes the protective power of Verrow's technology, we expect to develop other products in our pipeline.
